The introduction of social networks changed the way individuals communicate and socialize. The COVID-19 epidemic has decreased the gap even further, social media has steadily permeated the educational environment. Internet learning via social networking platforms and online applications is becoming increasingly popular. The young population is the greatest segment that responds most strongly to their presence on social networking platforms. This study focuses on teenagers and young adults who utilize social networking platforms as learning tools, notably TikTok, which features short videos ranging from 15 to 60 seconds in length but are incredibly engaging, innovative, and creative. A total of 686 samples were collected at random from high schools, colleges, and universities. The findings revealed that (1) most respondents enjoy using TikTok, preferring TikTok over other platforms for watching and posting short videos; (2) survey respondents agree that TikTok is an effective support platform in the field of education, particularly language learning; (3) they value the benefits TikTok provides in terms of being informative, creative, not boring, engaging content creators, learning a lot; and (4) respondents believe that TikTok will continue to develop successfully in the future. The research findings are beneficial to educational planners and academics who are looking for creative teaching methods that may be implemented in the classroom and used for future research.
