So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Murat Can Kabagöz, Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tarih Bölümü’nde yapmış olduğu yüksek lisans tezini Eğlenirken Modernleşmek ismiyle kitaplaştırmıştır. Kabagöz, eğlence hayatını gündelik yaşamın önemli bir parçası olarak değerlendirmekte ve bu bağlamda modernleşmeyle gelen değişimlerin ve tepkilerin eğlence hayatı üzerinden nasıl şekillendiğini toplumsal tarih çerçevesinde Osmanlı’dan Cumhuriyet’in ilk yıllarına kadarki dönem içerisinde tartışmaktadır. Yazar, çalışmasında kullandığı kaynakları sadece eğlence mekânlarıyla ilgili tarihsel belgeler ve gazete arşivleriyle sınırlamamış, edebiyattan da faydalanmıştır.
