Aim: To investigate burnout status and affecting factors on it among the last year medical faculty students. Materials and methods: This study was a crosssectional study and 85 out of 103 (participation rate: %82.5) last year student interviewed in this study. The Maslach Burnout Inventory was used to assess the burnout status. The Maslach Burnout Inventory consists of three subscales measuring the emotional exhaustion, the depersonalization and the personal accomplishment. Paired t test was used in statistical analyses. Findings: The findings of this study revealed that emotional exhaustion scores were higher among medical students who worked in Forensic Medicine Department. Burnout score was affected by night duties, spare time and lectures for last year student. Conclusion: These results indicate the importance of the last year education in terms of burnout syndrome.
