Araştırmada; aynı yasta, eşit ağırlıklı ve sağlıklı 30 adet beyaz leghorn horoz kullanıldı. Hayvanlar; Kontrol, Grup ST ve Grup AA şeklinde 3 gruba ayrıldı. Yem ve su ad libitum olarak verildi. Her grup ayrı bölmelere yerleştirildi. Deneme boyunca, Grup AA'daki hayvannların yemlerine askorbik asit (vitamin C) ileve edildi.
In the study; the same yasta, equal weight and healthy 30 white leghorn beans were used. The animals were divided into 3 groups in the form of Control, Group ST and Group AA. Food and water are given as ad libitum. Each group was placed in separate divisions. The ground area for a cattle in the control animals was 40 dm2. In other groups, the ground area allocated to an animal was 10 dm2. During the test, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) was added to the foods of animals in the group AA. As plasma corticosteroid levels increased in cows outside control animals, it was clear that stress was created. In control group cows; average blood serum total thyroxine (TT3), total triyodotironin (TT4), glucose, total cholesterol and total protein levels with plasma corticosteroid levels respectively; 2.78 pg/dl, 0.71ng/mf, 185. It was found at 63 mg/dl, 4.17 gr/dl and 0.96 ng/ml. In group St animals, serum TT3 (0.45 ng/ml) and total cholesterol (106.62 mg/dl) levels were reduced. However, the plasma corticosteroid level (1.57 ng/ml) increased the serum glucose level (207.32 mg/dl). In the group given ascorbic acid, the average serum TT3, glucose and total cholesterol levels and plasma corticosteroid levels were determined respectively; 0.53 ng/ml, 191.64 mg/dl, 111.54 mg/df and 1.02 ng/ml. There was no significant difference between the serum TT4 and the total protein levels of the groups. As a result, it was found that stress has a significant effect on some blood metabolites and that ascorbic acid is an effective substance in preventing the effects of stress.
