Teknoloji ve iletişimdeki gelişmeler üretimi, üreticilerin tüketicilere ulaşmasını, tüketicilerin de ürünlere ulaşımını daha kolay ve hızlı hale gelmiştir. Rekabetin oldukça yoğun yaşandığı günümüz piyasa koşullarında, etkileyici, ikna edici ve akılda kalıcı reklam ortaya çıkarmak için, izleyicileri yakalayan ve tüketici eğilimini geliştirme yönünde onları motive eden ve çekicilik adı verilen bir takım duygusal ve bilişsel unsurlar kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada reklam filmlerinde kullanılan mizah, korku-kaygı, duygusallık ve cinsellik olmak üzere 4 farklı kategorideki çekiciliklerin; reklamın dikkate çekme, beğeni oluşturma, hatırlanabilirlik, marka ve satın alma tutumlarını nasıl etkilediği ile tüketicilerde oluşturduğu tepkiler incelenmiştir. Araştırma 25 erkek ve 25 kadın toplam 50 katılımcı üzerinde anket yöntemi kullanılarak üç aşamada uygulanmıştır. İlk aşamada, katılımcıların demografik yapıları, reklamlara, reklam filmlerine ve çekiciliklerine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla 1. anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. İkinci aşamada, katılımcılara seçilen reklam filmleri izletilmiş sonrasında reklamlarla ilgili düşünceleri, reklam çekiciliklerinin etkisi, ürün ve markaya olan tutumlarına yönelik 2. anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Üçüncü aşamada, reklam izlemeden yedi gün sonra katılımcılara, izletilen reklamların hatırlanabilirliği ile ürün ve marka tutumundaki değişime yönelik 3. anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak toplumsal yapıya göre değişmekle birlikte reklamlarda mizah ve duygusallık çekiciliklerinin kullanımının ilgi uyandırma, beğeni oluşturma ve ikna etmede cinsellik ve korku çekiciliklerine göre daha etkili olduğu görülmüştür.
The developments in technology and communication have made production easier and faster for manufacturers to reach consumers, and for consumers to transport products. In today’s market conditions where competition is very intense, a set of emotional and cognitive elements are used to show impressive, convincing and consistent advertising, capturing the viewers and motivating them to develop their consumer tendencies and called attractiveness. This study has studied the reactions of 4 different categories of attractions, including humor, fear-threatening, emotionality and sexuality, used in advertising films, and how advertising affects the attitude of attention, likes, memorability, brand and purchase. The study was conducted in three stages by using the survey method of 25 men and 25 women with a total of 50 participants. In the first stage, the 1st survey app was conducted in order to determine the demographic structures of the participants, their attitudes towards advertising, advertising films and attractions. In the second phase, the advertising films selected to the participants were watched and then the opinions about the advertising, the impact of the advertising attractiveness, the attitude to the product and the brand were applied 2. In the third phase, seven days after the advertising follow, the participants received the 3rd survey application on the memorability of the advertising followed and the change in the product and brand attitude. As a result, the use of humor and emotional attractions in advertising has been more effective than the use of sexuality and fear attractions in exciting interest, creating likes and persuading.

In the study, the appeal of 4 different categories of humor, fear-anxiety, emotionality and sexuality; the contribution of the advertisement to the level of attracting attention and conveying the desired message, how the ad affects the ad taste, recall, the brand and purchasing attitudes, and the reactions of the consumers are examined. The research is carried out on 50 participants, 25 men and 25 women, in three stages using the questionnaire method. In the first phase, first questionnaire is applied to determine the demographic structure of the participants, their attitudes towards advertisements, their approach to advertising films and their appeals. In the second stage, second questionnaire is conducted to determine the emotions and thoughts about the advertisements, the effect of the advertisement appeal, the attitudes towards the product and brand, the preferences, the points that he remembered and attracted attention. In the third stage, seven days after watching the advertisement, third questionnaire is applied to the same participants about the recall of the advertised advertisements and the attitude towards product and brand. As a result, although it varies according to the social structure, it is observed that the use of humor and emotional appeal in advertisements is more effective than sexuality and fear appeal in arousing interest, creating appreciation and persuasion.
