Abstract:

Reading writing courses form the foundation of adult education as part of lifelong learning. In 1928, with the transition to the new alphabet, studies began throughout the country to increase the number of readers, the promised movements continued until today. A variety of methods and techniques have been used in reading writing teaching; many institutions and organizations have engaged in the reading writing process. Despite the movements in many stakeholders, the full number of readers did not the desired success. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of reading and writing courses conducted through the Public Education Center. For the purposes specified, the examination was conducted with the courses participating in the reading and writing course. To make the work more efficient; 1. In the Degree Reading Writing Course, in the Degree 2 Reading Writing Course, the courses that are trained in the Level Identification Exam are selected with the maximum variety of sampling management. In the study, the findings were obtained by the visual analysis method, the opinions of the cursors were presented in table by grouping, and the opinions of the participants were placed directly. According to the results of the research, the conclusion is that the duration of the course program is insufficient, the achievements are not effective, the individual differences of the courses are ignored, the living skills, the mathematical skills are not satisfied by the course program.
