Covid-19 Pandemi Sürecinde Uzaktan Keman Eğitimine İlişkin Öğrenci Görüşleri

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan Covid-19 salgını nedeniyle uzaktan eğitim kapsamında yapılan keman derslerine yönelik öğrenci görüşlerinin tespit edilmesidir. Araştırma, keman dersine yönelik uzaktan eğitim kapsamında yapılan uygulamaların güçlü ve zayıf yönlerinin ve bu sürecin öğrenciler üzerindeki etkisinin ortaya konması bakımından önemli görülmektedir. Bu araştırma Trakya Üniversitesi Sosyal ve Beşerî Bilimler Araştırmaları Etik Kurulu'nun 09.09.2020 tarihli toplantısında alınan 06/05 numaralı onay yazısı alınarak hazırlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel yöntem yaklaşımına dayalı olarak bir durum çalışması şeklinde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Trakya Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı'nda 1. 2. 3. ve 4. sınıflarda bulunan ve uzaktan eğitim sürecine tabi olan keman öğrencileri (n:19) oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada keman öğrencilerinin pandemi sürecinde uzaktan eğitimin işleyişine yönelik genel görüşlerinin yanı sıra öğrencilerin süreç içerisindeki motivasyonel durumları ile eş zamanlı ve eş zamanlı olmayan keman derslerine yönelik görüşlerinin ortaya konması amacıyla, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmış yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme sorularından yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, içerik analizi ve betimsel analiz ile oluşturulan tema, alt tema, kodlar ve kavramlar yoluyla tabloların altında yorumlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda, uzaktan eğitim kapsamında eş zamanlı ve eş zamanlı olmayan şekilde verilen keman derslerinin olumlu ve olumsuz yönleri öğrenci görüşleri doğrultusunda tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin tamamına yakınının, keman eğitiminin kesinlikle yüz yüze yapılması gerektiği görüşünü savundukları ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca müzik eğitiminde, yüz yüze ve uzaktan eğitimin birlikte uygulandığı harmanlanmış öğrenme modelinin kullanılmasına yönelik görüşler de araştırmanın sonuçları arasında yer almaktadır.

Abstract:

The aim of this research is to identify the students’ opinions about the chemistry courses under distance learning due to the Covid-19 epidemic that affects the entire world. The research is important in the light of the strengths and weaknesses of the practices carried out in the field of distance learning and the impact of this process on students. This study was prepared with the approval letter of 06/05 received at the meeting of the Social and Human Sciences Research Ethics Council of the University of Trakya on 09.09.2012. The research is designed in the form of a case study based on the method of quality. The research work group, the Faculty of Education of the University of Trakya, the Department of Fine Arts Education, the Department of Music Education, the Department of Anatomy of the University of Trakya. 2nd 3 and 4. The students who are in classes and undergoing a distance learning process (n:19) are formed. The research has taken advantage of the semi-configured interview questions prepared by the researcher in order to reveal the general views of students on the functioning of remote education in the pandemic process, as well as their motivational situations in the process and their opinions on simultaneous and non-saturated chemistry courses. Obtained findings, content analysis and visual analysis are interpreted under the tables through themes, sub themes, codes and concepts. In this regard, the positive and negative aspects of the chemistry courses given simultaneously and non- simultaneously in the framework of distance learning have been identified in accordance with the students’ opinions. The results of the study found that all students were close to the opinion that the training of the cement should definitely be done face-to-face. The views on the use of the mixed learning model in music education, where face-to-face and distance learning are applied together, are also among the results of the research.

The Student Opinions On Distant Violin Education During Covid-19 Epidemic

Abstract:

The main aim of this research is to investigate violin student’s opinions on distance learning due to Covid-19 epidemic which affects the whole world. We believe that the research is important since its potential to reveal and understand the strong and weak aspects of distant learning. In the study, we used a case study method which belongs to qualitative research approaches. This study was prepared by obtaining the approval letter no 06/05 received at the meeting of Trakya University Social and Human Sciences Research Ethics Committee on 09.09.2020. The research group consisted of 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th-year violin students who were studying at Trakya University Fine Arts Education Faculty, Music education department (n=19). The study was used semi-structured interview questions which aimed to collect violin students’ opinions on the synchronous and asynchronous distant violin courses, general views in process and to reveal their motivational circumstances while in an epidemic situation. Collected data was interpreted via theme, sub-theme and codes- concepts which have been produced by content analysis and descriptive analysis method under the tables. As a result of there search, it was revealed that almost all of the students remarked the view that violin education should be carried out face to face fashion. Also, opinions about the use of the blended learning model in music education are among the results of the research.
