Abstract:

The Egyptian novelist Necib Mahfuz, who won the first Nobel Prize in the Islamic/Arab world, is a prominent writer with his stories. Their novels and stories have been translated into Turkish, and many academic studies about it are also known in Mahfuz in our country. Many of the works of Mahfuz have been screened and screened. In this study, the four different Turkish translations, translation strategies and translation equivalentity of the story "Bedletü'l-Animal/Animal Uniform" in the Hemsu'l-Cun's story collection will be discussed and this story will be compared with the Arabic film with some changes.

In this study, article, four different Turkish translations of the story named “Captive Uniform” in the story collection Hemsu'l-Cunun will be discussed in terms of translation strategies and translation equivalence.
