SOSYAL BİLGİLER DERSİ ÖĞRETİM PROGRAMI’NDA YER ALAN DEĞERLER AÇISINDAN ÇİZGİ FİLM İNCELEME: RAFADAN TAYFA ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract:

Sosyal Bilgiler öğretiminin önemli amaçlarından biri çocuklara değerleri kazandırmaktır. Daha etkili ve nitelikli değerler eğitimi için Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde birçok eğitim aracı öğretmenler tarafından kullanılmaktadır. Değerlerin kazandırılmasında özellikle destan, şiir, hikâye gibi edebi ürünlerin yanında çizgi filmler de değerler eğitimi için önemli yer almaktadır. Bu araştırmada, Sosyal Bilgiler derslerinde değerler eğitimi kapsamında yararlanılabilecek Rafadan Tayfa çizgi filminin 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Öğretim Programı’ndaki değerler açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi ile veriler toplanmıştır. Çizgi filme ait 2014-2016 yılları arasında yayınlanan ve 2 sezon süren toplamda 79 bölüm içerik analizi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, çizgi filmin bölümlerinde toplam 17 değer tespit edilmiştir. Sosyal bilgiler dersi öğretim programında yer alan değerlerin çizgi filmde farklı oranlarda yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Özellikle bilimsellik, dayanışma ve sevgi değeri en fazla yer alan değerdir. Bilimsellik değeri teorik bilgiler ve günlük yaşamdan bilgiler şeklinde, Dayanışma değeri ise arkadaş dayanışması ve toplumsal dayanışma şeklinde iki alt tema altında ele alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca Rafadan Tayfa çizgi filminde kültürel değerlere sıkça yer verildiği belirlenmiştir. Kültürel değerler geleneksel yemekler, geleneksel oyunlar, milli unsurlar, yöresel kıyafetler, müzikler ve belirli gün ve haftalar altında ele alınmıştır. Özgürlük, bağımsızlık ve barış değerlerinin çizgi filmde çok az yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir.

One of the main objectives of social knowledge teaching is to give values to children. Many educational tools in the Social Information course for more effective and qualified values are used by teachers. In the award of values, especially literary products such as narrative, poetry, story, cartoons are also an important place for the education of values. In this study, it is intended to study the values of the Rafadan Tayfa cartoon, which can be benefited in the framework of values training in Social Information courses in 2018 Social Information Course Curriculum. Data is collected from the quality research methods with the document examination. The cartoon was published between 2014 and 2016 and has been analysed with a total of 79 episodes in two seasons by content analysis. According to the study, a total of 17 values were detected in the cartoon section. The social information course has been found that the values included in the curriculum are included in different rates in the cartoon. In particular, science, tolerance and love are the most important values. Scientific value is assessed by dealing with the theoretical information and the information from daily life, while the value of solidarity is assessed by dealing with the two sub-themes in the form of friendship and social solidarity. It is also determined that in the cartoon of Rafadan Tayfa, cultural values are frequently included. Cultural values have been dealt with in traditional foods, traditional games, national elements, local clothes, music and under certain days and weeks. The values of freedom, independence and peace have been found very little in the cartoons.

One of the important goals of the Social Studies course is to bring values to children. In the Social Studies course, many educational tools are used by teachers. In addition to literary products such as epics, poems and stories, cartoons are also important for the education of values. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the cartoon of Rafadan Tayfa in the context of the values in the Social Studies Curriculum published in 2018. The research was carried out with document analysis, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The data source of this research consists of 79 sections of Rafadan Tayfa cartoon film. Rafadan Tayfa cartoon's episodes published between 2014-2016 and in 2 seasons were analyzed. In the research, most of the values in the social studies course curriculum were found in the cartoon of Rafadan Tayfa. It is seen that the most important cultural values and elements are included in the cartoon of Rafadan Tayfa. Besides, it is seen that the values of Scientificity, Solidarity, Sympathy are the most emphasized values. Scientific value is gathered under two sub-themes as theoretical and daily life information. Solidarity value is gathered in this cartoon under two sub-themes: friend solidarity and social solidarity. There are traditional dishes, traditional plays, national elements, local clothes, music, certain days and weeks from cultural values and elements. It was determined that values of freedom, independence and peace were given little place in the cartoon.
