Crown rot caused by Bortytis cinerea on pomegranate fruit leads in economic crop losses in postharvest stage on pomegranate. There is no registered fungicide against B. cinerea at postharvest stage on pomegranates. In this study, 27 B. cinerea isolates were obtained from infected pomegranate fruit in commercial cold storage rooms from Antalya 23 and Izmir 4, where pomegranate grown and stored areas intensively. Effects of ten fungicides were tested on mycelia growth of 27 B.cinerea isolates in vitro and then selected isolates were used on fruit tests. In vitro tests, fluodioxanil, cyprodinil+fludioxanil and fenhexamid were highly, pyrimenthanil, thiabendazole, imazalil and boscalid+pyraclostrobin were moderate, azoxystrobin and boscalid were low effective on mycelial growth of B.cinerea isolates. On the fruit tests, the most effective fungicide was fludioxanil by 78.58%. After that, boscalid+pyraclostrobin and pyrimethanil were effective by 64.29% and 64.28%, respectively. Cyrodinil+fludioxanil (50%), cyprodinil (50.01%) and azoxystrobin (42.86%) were showed moderate effectiveness. Common postharvest fungicides, imazalil and TBZ have shown low efficacy against B.cinerea rots on pomegranate fruit. According to the results, fludioxanil were the most effective fungicides on postharvest control of B. cinerea on pomegranate fruit.
