Abstract:

Today, the simple approach is considered key in the business perspective, and in recent years the methods based on this approach are discussed that the Value Flow Maping (DAH) Method is shown as a simple but effective method in providing a comprehensive view of the conditions of value flow in an enterprise. The aim of this study is to study how the application of DAH technology to a production process, based on the Case Study Approach, can eliminate waste and improve efficiency. In order to meet this objective, the relevant area has been studied, a car company selected by the Case Work Approach and therefore a piece production process in a factory of this company has been addressed and the DAH application has been attempted to increase the efficiency of this process. In the study, the data was collected using the methods of documentation, observation and focus group consultation, within the process of production discussed. With the analysis of the data, the existing Value Flow Map was first drawn out and then the Value Flow Map for the future situation with improvements developed on the basis of the analysis results. In these processes, the created brain storm team was worked together. The implementation has provided significant improvements in efficiency, especially in the cycle time and machines. The application processes are tried to be defined as detailed and clearly as possible. Therefore, it can be said that the work has both a conceptual scope and a character that contains contributing tips to decision makers in the manufacturing sectors especially.
