Abstract:

Today, R&D project selection is very important for companies to be able to sustainable progress in a competitive environment. R&D project choice is a very complex problem because it contains a lot of decision makers with a lot of project alternatives under many qualitative and quantitative criteria. The aim of the study is to solve this complex problem with the EDAS method, which is one of the methods of Multi-Critical Decision Making. Also, the proposed method has been addressed along with the absurd logic theory due to the fact that the problem contains a lot of uncertainty, the difficulty in evaluating alternatives and criteria with accurate expressions. In the application, three decision makers have identified the most suitable project by evaluating by verbal variables under five R&D project alternatives criteria.
