So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

2022

Abstract:

After the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 epidemic as a pandemic, face-to-face education was suspended, and schools were closed in the world. In many countries, as of March 2020, urgent distance education has been started in order not to interrupt educational activities. This situation has caused various effects on faculty members, institutions, and students. In this study, the views of academics working in the faculty of education on the COVID-19 epidemic were examined. There are 13 academicians in the study and it is conducted using the phenomenological study, which is one of the qualitative research designs. The maximum sampling technique was used to reveal common points and wide-ranging patterns related to the study group. After obtaining the necessary permissions for the study, the data were collected. Semi-structured interview forms prepared as a result of expert opinions were used to collect data. The data collected from the study group were analyzed with the content analysis approach. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the research, it was seen that the views of the academicians on the COVID-19 pandemic formed three themes: the effects on education, the effects on the functioning of the university, and the effects on the success of the university.
