Amaç: COVID-19 ile mücadele eden sağlık çalışanlarının başkalarına ve kendilerine yönelik damgalama yaptıkları literatürde bahsedilmektedir. Çalışmada sağlık çalışanlarının COVID-19 ile ilgili başkalarına ve kendilerine yönelik damgalama yapıp yapmadıkları ayrıntılı olarak anket yoluyla değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Sağlık çalışanlarının COVID-19 ile ilgili başkalarına ve kendilerine yönelik damgalama algısını değerlendirmek amacıyla daha önceki çalışmalardanda yararlanılarak bu çalışmaya özgü anket oluşturulmuştur. Başkalarına yönelik ve kendilerine yönelik damgalama 2 farklı anketle (Form A ve Form B) değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma web ortamında oluşturulan anket formu aracılığıyla online olarak gerçekleştirilmiş, toplamda 245 katılımcıya ulaşılmıştır (135 kadın, 110 erkek). Elde edilen veriler SPSS 24.0 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Sağlık çalışanlarının başkalarına ve kendilerine yönelik olumsuz tutumlarının olduğu görülmüştür. Faktör analizinde sağlık çalışanlarının başkalarına yönelik “sosyal damga” ve “başkalarına yönelik sosyal damgayı anlama” alt boyutu, Kendilerine yönelik ise “kendine yönelik ayrımcı yorumlar” ve “kendilerine yönelik olumsuz algı” alt boyutu olduğu belirlendi. Toplam güvenilirlik değerleri Form A için 0,80 ve Form B için 0,79 şeklinde bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Sağlık çalışanlarının başkalarına ve kendilerine yönelik olumsuz düşüncelere sahip olmalarının bir çok sebebi olabilir. Bu sebeplerin tespit edilmesi gerekmektedir. Ayrıca sağlık çalışanlarının COVID-19 pandemisi sürecinde psikolojik olarak destek verilmelidir.
Purpose: COVID-19 is mentioned in the literature that healthcare workers who are fighting COVID-19 are signing to others and to themselves. The study aims to evaluate in detail whether healthcare workers have made signs on others and on themselves related to COVID-19. Method: A survey was created specific to this study, using previous studies to assess the perception of signs of healthcare workers in relation to others and to themselves with a view to COVID-19. The signs to others and their signs to others have been evaluated by two different surveys (Form A and Form B). The survey was conducted online through the survey form created in the web environment, with a total of 245 participants (135 women, 110 men). The data received was analyzed with the SPSS 24.0 package program. The findings: Health workers have been shown to have negative attitudes towards others and themselves. The analysis of the factor determined that health workers’ subdimensions were “social sign” and “comprehension of social sign to others” and “discriminatory comments to themselves” and “negative perceptions to themselves”. The total reliability values were 0.80 for Form A and 0.79 for Form B. The result: Health workers may have many reasons to have negative opinions about others and themselves. These causes need to be identified. Health workers should also be psychologically supported during the COVID-19 pandemic process.
