In this study, the aim is to develop new and active catalysts to obtain synthesis gas with oxidative steam reformation reactions of biogas. For this purpose, catalysts similar to Ni-CeO2/MgAl hydrotalsite were prepared in the literature, which were not used in the oxidative steam reformation of biogas, in different quantities of serum (Ce) (2,5%/5/7,5/10,0) and Mg:Al mol (1:1, 2:1, 3:1) and in different quantities (1:1, 2:1, 3:1). While hydrotalsite-like support materials are prepared together with the collapse method, catalysts are prepared using the wet absorption method. The structural and physical characteristics of the catalysts are determined by the analysis of X-ray breakdown (XRD), Brunauer Emmett Teller (BET), Inductive Combined Plasma/Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES) and Scared Electron Microscope (SEM). Biogas’ oxidative steam reformation reactions were performed at 800 oC and under atmospheric conditions in a fixed-bed quartz reactor. The catalysts have been tested in the oxidative gas reformation reactions so that the gas feed mol ratio is CH4/CO2/O2/H2O = 1,0/0,67/0,1/0,3 and the empty speed is 45000 mL/gkat.h. The best catalytic activity was achieved with the Ni10Ce2,5/MgAl(2:1) catalyzer to be CH4 conversion by 96, CO2 conversion by 82, H2 productivity by 92% and H2/CO break by 1,57.
