Bu çalışma insan fiillerine ilişkin Eş‘arî ekolünün yaklaşımı ile Mutezile ekolünün yaklaşımını karşılaştırmalı olarak ele alır. İki ekolün önemli isimlerinin polemik edebiyatına konu olan bir diyaloğu esas alınarak bir değerlendirme yapmayı amaçlar. Eş‘arî ekol adına Ebu’l-İshak İsferâyînî, Mu‘tezile ekol adına da Kâdî Abdulcebbâr’a nispet edilen bu diyalog, kısa fakat tartışmaya ilişkin önemli ipuçlarını içinde bulundurur. Ebu’l-İshak İsferâyînî, üçüncü kuşak bir Eş‘arî ekol temsilcisidir. Buna karşın Kâdî Abdulcebbâr Mu‘tezilî ekolün son büyük isimlerinden biridir. O, ekolün görüşlerinin günümüze taşınmasında önemli bir görev üstlenmiş bir âlimdir. Kâdî Abdulcebbâr’a ilişkin ilginç bir anekdot da onun yaşamının bir döneminde Eş‘arî ekole mensup bir alim olup, daha sonra Mu‘tezilî ekole geçtiğidir. Dolayısıyla onun, Eş‘arî ekolün öğretisini detaylı bir biçimde bildiği varsayılabilir. Kâdî Abdulcebbâr kendi ekolünün son temsilcilerinden biridir. Öte yandan Ebu’l-İshak İsferâyînî ise kendi ekolünün erken dönem temsilcilerinden biridir. Tarafların teolojinin bu önemli konusuna ilişkin söz konusu diyaloga yansıyan görüşleri bu iki ekolün yaklaşımları bağlamında çalışmamızda ele alınacaktır.
This study compares the approach of the Mutezile ekol with the approach of the Mutezile ekol. It is intended to make an assessment based on a dialogue on the subject of the controversial literature of the two important names. This dialogue, referred to in the name of Abu’l-Ishak-Isferâyini, and in the name of Mu’tezile ekol, is a short but important clue about the discussion. Ismael is a third-generation associate. This study deals with the approach of the Ash'ari school and the approach of the Mu’tazilah school regarding human actions. It aims to make an evaluation based on a dialogue of the important names of the two schools, which is the subject of polemic literature. This dialogue, which is attributed to Abu al-Ishaq Isferayini, Qadi Abduljabbar on behalf of the Ash'ari school, is short but contains important clues regarding the discussion. Abu al-Ishaq İsferayini is a third generation Ash'ari school representative. However, Qadi Abduljabbar is one of the last great names of the Mu’tazilah school. He is a scholar who has undertaken an important task in carrying the views of the school to the present. An interesting anecdote about Qadi Abduljabbar is that he was a scholar of the Ash'ari school at some point in his life and later passed to the Mu’tazilah school. Therefore, it can be assumed that he knew in detail the teaching of the Ash'ari school. Qadi Abduljabbar is one of the last representatives of his school. On the other hand, Abu al-Ishaq Isferayini is one of the early representatives of his school. The views of the parties reflected in this dialogue on this important issue of theology will be discussed in our study in the context of the approaches of these two schools.
