Bu çalışmanın amacı, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmeni adaylarının intihal hakkındaki önbilgilerini, hazırlamış oldukları ödev ve projelerde intihalin ne derece yaygın olduğunu ve hangi yöntemlerle intihal yapıldığını araştırmaktır. Bu araştırmaya Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi, Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi ve Uşak Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği programlarında öğrenim gören 308 öğretmen adayı katılmıştır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma modellerinden tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS bilgisayar paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular öğretmen adaylarının intihal konusunda bilgi seviyelerinin yetersiz olduğunu ve öğretmen adaylarının yarısının intihal kavramını ilk kez duyduklarını göstermektedir. Ayrıca öğretmen adaylarının arasında intihalin son derece yaygın olduğu da tespit edilmiştir. En yaygın olarak başvurulan intihal yönteminin internet yoluyla intihal olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, intihal problemini ortadan kaldırmak için ivedilikle bir dizi önlemin alınması gerekliliği ortaya çıkmış ve konuyla ilgili önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The aim of this study is to explore the pre-knowledge of the candidates for social information teachers about suicide, how common suicide is in the tasks and projects they have prepared and in which methods suicide is done. This study included 308 teachers from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Afyon Kocatepe University and Uşak University who studied in social information teaching programs. The method of scanning from quantum research models was used in the research. The data obtained was analyzed using the SPSS computer package program. The findings show that the teaching candidates have insufficient levels of knowledge about suicide and that half of the teaching candidates have heard the concept of suicide for the first time. It is also found that suicide among teachers candidates is extremely common. The most commonly used method of suicide is suicide via the internet. As a result, the need to take a series of measures in advance to eradicate the problem of suicide has emerged and recommendations on the subject have been made.
