AKSİYOMLARLA TASARIM YÖNTEMİ İLE GENLEŞTİRİLMİŞ POLİSTİREN SERT KÖPÜK BONCUK HAMMADDESİ SEÇİMİ

İşletmeler, günümüzün rekabetçi ortamında ayakta kalabilmek için stratejik olarak doğru kararlar alarak kaynaklarını iyi yönetmek mecburiyetindedir. Bu bağlamda, tedarik zinciri yönetiminde satınalma biriminin aldığı kararlar hayati öneme sahiptir. Globalleşen dünyada, hammadde satınalma sürecinde tedarik edilecek malzemelerin yalnızca bulunabilirliğinin ve fiyatının dikkate alınması yanlış kararlar verilmesine yol açabilir. Satınalma süreçlerinde Çok Kriterli Karar Verme (ÇKKV) yöntemleri literatürde sıklıkla kullanılmış ve başarılı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, binaların dış cepheleri için yalıtım malzemesi olarak kullanılan EPS (Genleştirilmiş Polistiren Sert Köpük) levhanın hammaddesi olan boncuk EPS’nin satınalma sürecine ÇKKV yöntemlerinden Aksiyomatik Tasarım ile yaklaşımda bulunulmuştur. Kriterler (malzemenin birim fiyatı, tedarik süresi, araca yüklenen maksimum miktar (parti büyüklüğü), termine uyum oranı ve kalite red oranı) ve yöntemin uygulanması için gerekli olan tasarım aralıkları uzman görüşü ile belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada önce kriter ağırlıkları eşit alınarak sıralama yapılmıştır. Sonrasında yine bir ÇKKV yöntemi olan Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi (AHP) ile kriter ağırlıkları elde edilmiş ve sıralama yeniden yapılmıştır. Son olarak, tasarım aralığı daralıp genişletilerek bu aralığın sonuçlara etkisi incelenmiş ve elde edilen sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır.

Abstract:

Companies are obliged to manage their resources well by making strategically correct decisions to stay standing in today’s competitive environment. In this context, decisions made by the sales unit in supply chain management are vital. In a globalized world, considering the availability and price of the materials to be supplied in the process of raw materials can lead to making wrong decisions. The methods of Multi-Critical Decision Making (MCCV) in sales processes have been frequently used in literature and successful results have been obtained. In this study, the process of purchase of the EPS, which is the raw material of the EPS (Extended Polystyrene Hard Foam) sheet used as the insulation material for the external sides of the buildings, has been approached by the CKKV methods of Action Design. The criteria (the unit price of the material, the delivery time, the maximum amount charged on the vehicle (part size), the term compatibility rate and the quality red rate) and the design intervals required for the application of the method are determined by the expert opinion. Before the study, the criteria are equal to the weight. The criterion weights have been obtained with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which is a CKKV method, and the ranking has been rebuilt. Finally, the impact of this range on the results was studied and the results obtained were interpreted by the design range being shrinked and expanded.

In order to survive in today's competitive environment, businesses have to make strategically correct decisions and manage their resources correctly. In this context, decisions taken by the purchasing unit in supply chain management are vital. When buying raw materials, decision-makers can make the wrong decisions only if they consider the availability and price of the materials. In purchasing processes, Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods have been used frequently and successful results have been obtained. In this study, the approach to the procurement process of bead EPS, which is the raw material of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene Hard Foam) board used as insulation material for facades of buildings, has been approached with Axiomatic Design, one of the MCDM methods. Criteria (unit price of material, lead time, maximum quantity loaded on the vehicle (lot size), term compliance ratio and quality rejection rate) and design intervals required for the application of the method were determined by expert opinion. In the study, we first considered the criterion weights equal and made a ranking. Afterwards, we calculated the criterion weights with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which is also an MCDM method, and redesigned the ranking. Finally, we examined the effect of the width of the design range on the results and interpreted our results.
