Abstract:

The aim of this study is to adapt the scale of pedagogical love trends developed by Yin and his friends (2019) to the Turkish culture. The original form is 6 dimensions and 29 items in the first phase of the scale adaptation work, the language equality study was done. For the collection of the data of the research, the Ethical Compliance Report from the Board of Scientific Research and Publishing Ethics of the University of Fırat (Date: 29/12/2020, Number: 432967) was received. Data from 291 class teachers were collected for the validity and reliability studies of the scale. In the analysis of the discouraging factor, a six-dimensional scale was obtained that explains up to 67.71 % of the total variance by eliminating 7 substances. The verifying factor is good and perfect in the analysis (July 2 /sd = 1.77, CFI = .95, TLI = .95, RMSEA = .050, RMR = .017, SRMR = . 049 conformity index values have been obtained. The forming factors, taking into account the original state of the scale, are called bond and devotion, acceptance of diversity, intimity, empathy, acceptance of the class community and kindness, forgiveness. These results show that the measurement tool is structural validity. The internal consistency ratio of Cronbach Alpha is calculated for the reliability analysis of the scale. Cronbach Alpha internal consistency ratio for .85, for the acceptance size of diversity .73, for the intimity size .85, for the empathy size .92, for the acceptance size of the class community and for the kindness size .83, for the donation size .75, for the general size . It is estimated at 92. The research results show that the scale of adapted pedagogical love trends is a valid and reliable measurement tool that teachers can measure the levels of pedagogical love.
