The aim of this study is to analyze whether there is a causal relationship between poverty, unemployment and economic growth in the period 2006-2018 by panel data method on the scale of the regional and regional levels of Turkey. The Fisher Cause Test findings show that there are two-way causal relationships between poverty and unemployment and unemployment and unemployment and economic growth. In the Mediterranean, Eastern Black Sea and Southeast Anatolian Level 1 regions, a one-way causal relationship has been observed from economic growth to poverty rate. Unemployment and poverty rates affect each other in Istanbul and Southeast Anadolu Level 1 regions. In the northeastern Anadolu Level 1 region, economic growth and unemployment rates are in a double interaction. The causal relationship between the variables in the other Level 1 areas examined in the study shows differences. The results of the study show that policy measures to boost the prosperity of the poor and unemployed sectors, along with economic growth in sustainable development efforts, are an inevitable necessity for developing countries.
