Bu araştırmanın amacı, sağlık sektöründe görev yapan kadın çalışanların cam tavan algısını ve bu algıda çalışanların demografik özelliklerinin anlamlı farklılık oluşturup oluşturmadığını tespit etmektir. Araştırmada, tesadüfi olamayan yöntemlerden kolayda örneklem yöntemiyle belirlenen 264 katılımcı ile online anket yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, SPSS programı ile parametrik testlerle analiz edilmiştir. Örneklem, sadece Çankırı ilinde görev yapan kadın sağlık çalışanları ile sınırlı tutulmuştur. Çalışma sağlık sektöründe görev yapan kadın çalışanlardan elde edilen anket verilerinin kullanılması nedeniyle özgünlük değerine sahiptir. Elde edilen bulgular neticesinde örneklem grubundaki kadın çalışanlarda orta düzeyde cam tavan algısının olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca kadın çalışanların cam tavan algılarında demografik özelliklere göre anlamlı farklılıkların olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The purpose of this study was to determine the glass ceiling perception in female professionals working in the health sector and whether their demographic characteristics created a significant difference in this perception or not. In the study, we conducted an online survey with 264 participants who were chosen via the convenience sampling method, which is among the nonrandom methodology. We analyzed the data acquired via parametric tests in the SPSS program. We kept the sample limited to the female healthcare professionals working in Çankırı province. The study is of original value because we used the survey data acquired from the female professionals working in the health sector. As a result of the findings obtained, we concluded that the female professionals in the sample group had a moderate level of glass ceiling perception. In addition, we found that there were significant differences in the glass ceiling perception of female professionals according to demographic characteristics.
