Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to compare the levels of cognitive behavioral physical activity of teams and individuals who do individual sports. In 2021, the study included a total of 316 athletes, including 152 men (48.1) and 164 women (51.9) who participated in team sports in the province of Erzurum, 162 (51.3) and 154 (48.7) who participated in individual sports. The study was developed by Schembre and his colleagues in 2015 and used as a data collection tool for the Intellectual Behavioral Physical Activity Scale (BDFAÖ), which was adapted to the Turkish and Turkish population by the Elders and their colleagues in 2016. The SPSS 20.0 package program has been used for the analysis of statistical analysis. In the analysis of the data to identify the demographic information of the participants, the frequency analysis, the team sports and the individual sports are involved in the comparison of the perceptions of cognitive physical activity and the subdimensions of the individual physical activity. As a result, the levels of cognitive behavioral physical activity of teams and individual sports have been compared and the athletes who are interested in team sports have a higher perception of cognitive physical activity than the athletes who are interested in individual sports.
