Mevlana Zafer Ali Han (1873-1956), Urdu edebiyatı ve birleşik Hindistan tarihinin önemli figürlerinden biridir. O kendine özgü tarzı olan bir şair, nevi şahsına münhasır bir gazeteci, cesur bir siyasetçi ve önemli toplum lideridir. Aligarh Kolej’inde eğitimini tamamlayan Zafer Ali Han, bu eğitim kurumunun ilkelerine bağlı kalarak toplumsal reform hedefine yönelik çalışmalar yaptı. Bir edebiyatçı ve gazeteci olarak toplumu bilinçlendirme ve onu belirli hedefler için hazırlama konusunda Hindistan tarihinde önemli bir yer edindi. Özellikle İngiliz yönetimi ve esarete başkaldırı konusunda yaptığı çalışmaların Hindistan’ın bağımsızlık mücadelesine büyük katkı sağladığı aşikârdır. Zira o, esarete başkaldırı ve bağımsızlık mücadelesine katkı sağlayacak her türlü oluşumda mutlaka etkin bir görev üstelendi. İkbal’in de belirttiği gibi “Alt kıtanın bütün milli ve siyasi akımları onun üstün çabalarına minnettar görünmektedir.”Çıkarmakta olduğu Zemindar gazetesi, onun esaret karşıtı söylemlerinin toplumun her kesimine ulaşmasını sağladı. Zafer Ali Han, Hindistan dışındaki Müslüman ülkelerde yaşanan gelişmeleri de yakından takip etti. Özellikle Türkler onun dikkatle izlediği ulus oldu. Bu dönem Trablusgarp ve Balkan savaşlarının yaşandığı ve emperyal güçlerin Osmanlı’yı yok etmeye hazırlandığı dönemdir. Bu dönemde çok sayıda şiir yazdı, mitingler düzenledi. Hilafet Hareketinin en önemli liderlerinden biri oldu. I. Dünya Savaşı’ndan sonra Anadolu’nun işgali onu derinden sarsan gelişme oldu. Tüm namüsait şeraite rağmen Batı yayılmacılığına karşı Türklerin kazandığı zafer ondaki esarete başkaldırı ateşini daha da körükledi. Türklerin bağımsızlık mücadelesini ülkesinin vatandaşlarına örnek gösterdi. Türkiye’de kurulan yeni yönetim anlayışını tüm Müslüman uluslar için takip edilecek yol olarak gördü.
Mevlana Zafer Ali Han (1873-1956), one of the important figures of Urdu literature and the history of the United India. He is a poet with his own style, a journalist with his own personality, a courageous politician and a major society leader. Zafer Ali Han, who completed his education at Aligarh College, continued to work towards the goal of social reform by following the principles of this educational institution. As a writer and journalist, India has taken an important place in the history of awareness of society and preparing it for specific goals. It is clear that his work, in particular on the British government and the rebellion on the prison, has made a great contribution to India’s struggle for independence. For he had an effective task in every form that would contribute to the rebellion and the struggle for independence. As Iqbal said, "All the national and political flows of the Alt continent seem to be grateful for its superior efforts.“The Zeminard newspaper, which he was leaving out, made his anti-prison speeches reach every part of the society. Victory Ali Han also closely followed the developments in Muslim countries outside India. The Turkish people were the people he watched carefully. This period was the time when the Trablusgarp and the Balkans were fighting and the empire forces were preparing to destroy the Ottoman. He wrote a lot of poems during this period, and organized meetings. He became one of the most important leaders of the Hilafet movement. and I. After the World War, the occupation of Anadolu was a deep development that shook him. In spite of all the miserable charity, the victory that the Turks won against the western spread further shattered the fire of rebellion in the prison. The Turkish struggle for independence was an example for the citizens of their country. He saw the new concept of government established in Turkey as a path to follow for all Muslim nations.

This is the period when the Tripoli and Balkan wars took place and the imperial forces were preparing to destroy the Ottoman Empire. During this period, he wrote many poems and organized rallies. He became one of the most important leaders of the Caliphate Movement. After World War I becouse of occupation of Anatolia he was very upset. Despite all circumstances, The Turkish victory over Western expansion further fueled the revolt of his captivity.
