Abstract:

In this study, students’ life satisfaction, positive and negative emotions; gender, faculty, class level, age, family income, monthly spending, the place where they spend most of their lives, the place where they live in the learning process, psychological consultancy assistance demand variables are significantly different or not. The study included 962 (412 women and 550 men) university students. In the collection of data, the personal information form, the scale of life, the scale of positive and negative emotions were used. To determine whether life satisfaction, positive and negative emotional points differ according to demographic variables, t Test and one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) for independent samples have been applied. The study found that in terms of life satisfaction, gender, age, income level of the family and psychological consultancy assistance demand variants were significantly different; in terms of positive emotions, gender, faculty variants were significantly different; in terms of negative emotions, faculty, age, income level of the family, the place of residence in which he spent most of his life and psychological consultancy assistance demand variants were significantly different.
