Bilgiye ulaşmanın son derece kolay olduğu çağımız, doğru bilgiyi ayırt etme becerisini gerekli kılmaktadır. Herhangi bir konuda karşımıza çıkan çeşitli kaynaklar arasından doğrusunu seçebilmek farklı bir okuryazarlık türünü alanyazına kazandırmıştır. Bilgi okuryazarlığı, bireyin bilgiyi bir ihtiyaç olarak görmesi ve ihtiyaç duyduğu bilgiye ulaşmada en etkili ve doğru yolu tercih etmesi, ulaştığı bilgiyi yerinde kullanması gibi becerileri gerektirmektedir. Bu çalışmada Türkçe öğretmeni adaylarının bilgi okuryazarlığı düzeyleri ile bilgi okuryazarlığı düzeylerinin cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi ve mezun olunan lise değişkenleri arasında ilişki olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Çalışma 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim yılı güz döneminde Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Türkçe Eğitimi Bölümünde 1.,2.,3. ve 4. sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan 219 Türkçe öğretmeni adayıyla sınırlı tutulmuştur. Veriler, Adıgüzel (2011) tarafından geliştirilen, güvenirlik alpha katsayısı .928 bulunan ve 29 maddeden oluşan “Bilgi Okuryazarlık Ölçeği” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlardan bazıları şu şekildedir: Öğretmen adaylarının bilgi okuryazarlık düzeylerinin cinsiyet değişkenine göre ölçeğin bazı alt boyutlarında farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Örneğin; bilgiyi kullanmada etik ve yasal düzenlemede kız ve erkek öğrenciler arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu ve bu farklılığın kız öğrenciler lehine olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Lise mezuniyeti değişkenini incelediğimizde ise, Anadolu Lisesi ve Genel Lise mezunu öğrenciler arasında Anadolu Lisesi mezunu öğrenciler lehine anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.
Our age, where access to information is extremely easy, requires the ability to distinguish the correct information. Choosing the truth between the various sources that we encounter in any subject has given us a different type of literature. Information literature requires skills such as that the individual sees information as a need and chooses the most effective and correct way to reach the information he needs, and uses the information he has reached in place. In this study, the Turkish teacher candidates studied whether the level of knowledge literacy and the level of knowledge literacy are related between gender, class level and graduated high school variables. Study 2015-2016 in the year of teaching in the good period of the Afyon Kocatepe University School of Education in the Turkish Education Department 1.,2. In the 3rd and 4th classes, 219 Turkish teachers were limited to candidates. The data was collected through the "Information Reading Scale" (Information Reading Scale) of 29 articles with the reliability alpha ratio .928 developed by Adıgüzel (2011). Some of the results obtained from the study are as follows: It has been found that the level of knowledge literacy of the teacher candidates differs in some subdimensions of the scale according to the gender variable. For example, there has been a significant difference in the ethical and legal arrangements in the use of information between girls and boys students, and this difference has been found to be in favour of girls and boys students. When we study the variable of high school graduation, it is found that there is a significant difference in the benefit of the graduate students of Anadolu High School and General High School graduate students.
