The purpose of this study is to identify the problems faced by guidance teachers in their profes- sions and to suggest solutions to resolve these problems. The data of this qualitative study, which was designed as a case study, were obtained from interviews with 31 guidance teachers working in kindergarten, primary and secondary schools. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool. The data was analyzed using the descriptive analysis technique. Results revealed that guidance teachers had various problems in the provision of appropriate space for interviewing and procurement of necessary equipment for the school administration. In addition, guidance teachers have indicated that school administrators and teachers are lacking in guidance. The results were discussed in line with the related literature and some suggestions were presented.
