Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to compare the problems faced in the first reading writing teaching in joint class primary schools and independent class primary schools. The data in the investigation was collected through the survey. In the development of the data collection tool used in the research, literature scan was first done, similar research was taken advantage of, teachers and expert opinions were also taken into account. The survey contains 35 articles for the purpose of identifying the problems of the first reading writing teaching. The survey was applied to 140 teachers working in independent classes in the Kayseri countryside, the data obtained was analyzed with the SPSS statistical package program; percentage, frequency and weight average were calculated. Independence control is performed by ki-core analysis. The findings are interpreted comparatively from the point of view of the unified class and the independent class. The study found the problems faced in the first reading and writing teaching, and found which of these problems were caused by the combined class practice. The problems that are faced in the combined class practice are the failure to educate the teacher candidates before service, the lack of interest in the families, the lack of knowledge and adequate application of the teaching methods and techniques for first reading and writing, the lack of time, the lack of individual concern with the students and the failure to adapt the students to the class. In addition to this, the failures in the inspection and guidance system have also been shown to have an impact on the problems encountered in the first reading writing teaching.
