Bu araştırma, toplumun bağımlılık yapıcı madde kullanan bireylere yönelik davranışlarını ve bu davranışları etkileyen faktörlerin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, Manisa merkezde çalışmaya gönüllü olarak katılmayı kabul eden 396 kişi yer almış, veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen anket formu kullanılmış ve veriler SPSS 25 programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Katılımcıların bağımlılık yapıcı madde kullanan bireylere yönelik olumsuz düşünce davranışları üzerinde, ailesinde ve yakın çevresinde alkol, uyuşturucu madde kullanan ve bağımlılık tedavisi görmüş birinin bulunmasının etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Genel anlamda bakıldığında yakın çevresinde alkol ve uyuşturucu madde kullanan, bağımlılık tedavisi görmüş yakını bulunmayan katılımcıların bu bireylere yönelik olumsuz tutumları daha fazladır. Katılımcıların sigara, alkol ve uyuşturucu madde kullanma durumu ile çocuk sahibi olmama durumunun da, bağımlılık yapıcı madde kullanan bireylere yönelik birçok olumsuz tutum ve düşünceyi azalttığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu çerçevede bağımlılık yapıcı madde kullanan bireylere yönelik toplumdaki ayrımcı tutumların önlenmesi, konuyla ilgili mücadelenin etkin bir şekilde sürdürülmesinde ve bu bireylerin temel hak ve hizmetlerden faydalanabilmesinde oldukça önemli görülmektedir.
This study was conducted with the aim of studying the behavior of society towards individuals using addictive substances and the factors affecting these behaviors. The study included 396 people who agreed to participate voluntarily in the Manisa Center, the survey form developed by researchers as a data collection tool and the data was analyzed with the SPSS 25 program. Participants have been found to have an effect on negative thinking behavior towards individuals who use addictive substances, in their families and in their surroundings that someone who uses alcohol, drugs and has been treated with addiction. In general, the negative attitudes of participants who use alcohol and drugs in their close surroundings, who have not seen the treatment of addiction, are more negative towards these individuals. The status of participants smoking, alcohol and drug use and the status of having children have also been found to reduce many negative attitudes and thoughts towards individuals who use addictive substances. In this context, the prevention of discriminatory attitudes in society towards individuals who use addictive substances is considered very important in the effective continuation of the struggle on the subject and in the possibility that these individuals benefit from their fundamental rights and services.
In this study, attitudes towards individuals who use addictive substances and factors affecting attitudes was aim to examined. The study was conducted in Manisa city center on a sample of 396 and a questionnaire developed by the researcher was used as data collection tool, and the collected data was analyzed in IBM SPSS 25.0 software program. It was found that the presence of a person who used alcohol, drugs and addiction treatment in his family and his immediate environment affected the participants' negative attitudes and behaviors towards individuals using addictive substances. Generally speaking, the participants who do not use alcohol or drugs or who have not been treated for addiction are more likely to have negative attitudes towards these individuals. It was found that the participants' smoking, alcohol and drug use status and non-having children status also reduces many negative attitudes and thoughts towards individuals using addictive substances.
