Due to not only the philosopher's productive period but also his personal discourse, the ethical part of Ludwig Wittgenstein thought has partially overlooked. In fact, the ethical part has occupied one of the most central positions in his thought. Regarding the most fundamental concern of his thought "the possibility of articulating something through language", this study deals with the possibilities of ethical discourse in Wittgenstein's early and late period. His early thought that is the updated tendency of Tractatus' picture theory of language emphasizes that elaborating scientifically on the "unspeakable" areas including ethics is a serious mistake. However, ethical discourse can be seen as possible on the condition that one knows there is always a wrong use of language during the act of speech in these areas. In this sense, the “silencing” call of Wittgenstein about these areas does not mean “not to say anything” but “not to speak in the language of natural sciences.” In his late period, we see the same theme with a different structure and language games. At this point, ethics will express a specific language game, and the ethical discourse will be seen possible again as long as the grammar of another game is not tried to pass over the other.
