Abstract:

Modern mimarlık ürünleri 20. yüzyıl sonunda kültür mirasının bir parçası olma niteliğiyle yeni bir kimlik kazanmıştır. Modern mimarlığın kültür varlığı olarak kabulü ve mirasın bu yeni bileşeninin tanım ve içeriğinin tartışılması süreci koruma kuramının dinamizmini vurgulaması açısından önemlidir. Mevcut koruma kavram ve ölçütleri, modern mimarlık mirasının katılımıyla tanımları ve içeriklerinin niteliği ve niceliği bağlamında yeniden tartışılmıştır. Türkiye’nin modern mimarlık mirasının tanım ve kapsamı ise, uluslararası platformda yaşanan yenilikleri değerlendirmenin yanı sıra, kendine özgü koşulları bağlamında tartışılmalıdır.
