Aim: The aim of this study to examine the resemblances of İbn-i Şerif about “the falling down and the closure of uterus” which is written in Yadigâr under the headline of “Genital Illnesses” and the “prolapse of uterus” of today’s medicine, and to compare their therapies. Material and Methods: The chapters of Yadigâr-ı İbn Şerif were studied from the book published in today’s Turkish by Prof. Dr. Ayten Altıntaş. Results: With this study, the resemblances between the two illnesses were determined. İt has been seen, that the therapy aspects of them are difficult. Discussion: It is important to consider all of treatment chance. İn this wise it can be possible to contribute to progress of science and to have better chance to be helpful. In this context it is considerable, that the illness, which is handled in this study, has a simpler therapy chance.
