The purpose of this study is to examine the pre-prison life, prison life and future expectations of women entering prison for guilt or injury in the context of sex-based patrol approach and patriarchy. Research within the scope of one of the women remaining in the closed prisons in Turkey are conducted in-depth interviews with nine women. As a result of research, a significant proportion of women have been exposed to physical, emotional and sexual violence during childhood. In interviews with women, it was seen that mother was exposed to patriarchal imposition because her mother had more violence and more pressure than her father, because she was a girl child, and her education was prevented in this sense. In addition, women are married at a young age and forcibly with relatives; they also fell into the spiral of violence and rape in their marriage. When women want to divorce, they are not allowed to divorce by their husbands or family members. In addition, the relationship of women's spouses to their children is very bad, and from time to time, spouses apply violence to their children. Eventually, violence, rape, patriarchy, etc., caused women to walk on the path leading to the suicide. Looking at the prison experience of women's prisoners, it seems that women who can work can work. When women are looked after after they leave prison, they do not want to return to their families after they leave prison, but they have no idea how to continue their lives and are worried about their future
