Turkey is one of the rich countries in terms of perlite resources. The enlarged perlit obtained by the enlargement of raw perlit in high temperatures finds its use in the construction sector especially with its low intensity and thermal insulation characteristics. This study is aimed at producing blocks characterized by light and heat isolation using enlarged perlite aggregate. For this purpose, plaque elements used as binding cement and flying ashes, with water/binding ratio of 0.40 and perlitine volume of 40%, 50% and 60% were produced, physical and mechanical tests were carried out in block samples obtained by cutting in appropriate sizes from these elements. The results of the experiment showed that the perlit aggregate could be used in block production, and also found that when the cement used as binding is contained with flowing ashes by 50% of the volume, it does not significantly affect the physical and mechanical performance of the block, it provides a lower use of cement for a more environmental product. The extended perlite aggregate block produced under this study has been shown to be a product of a quality that can compete with gas concrete, taking into account the physical and mechanical characteristics,
