Kelam ilmi, İslam inanç esaslarını akli olarak temellendiren, delillerle ortaya koyan ve İslami ilimler arasında erken dönemde oluşmaya başlayan ilk ilimlerden biridir. Kelam ilmi gerek Müslümanların kendi içlerinde yaşadıkları problem ve sorulara, gerek farklı din ve kültürlerle karşılaşılması durumlarında İslam’ın inanç esaslarını savunan, delillendiren bir ilimdir. Bu cihetiyle Kelam ilmi inancın temellendirilmesi ve ispatı noktasında önemli bir role sahiptir. Böyle bir öneme sahip bir ilmin tarihinin, amacının, konularının ve bugünün dünyasında ne gibi bir işlevinin bulunduğunun bilinmesi elzemdir. Bu bağlamda tanıtımını yapacağımız Cemalettin Erdemci’ye ait olan ‘’Kelam İlmine Giriş’’ adlı eser ciddi bir öneme sahiptir.

It has a key role in the establishment of faith and proof. It is essential to know what the history, purpose, subjects and functions of such an important knowledge are in the world of today. In this context, the work "Kelam Ilmine Introduction" which belongs to the Cemalettin Erdemci that we will promote has a serious importance.
