Bu çalışmada, lisans ve lisansüstü öğrencilerine pH Metre, Elektrot Kalibrasyonu ve Gran Metodunun öğretilebilmesi için yapılandırıcı öğrenme yaklaşımına dayalı bir laboratuvar aktivitesi hazırlanmıştır. Gösterim, rehberli sorgulama, kavram oluşturma, ve uygulama aşamalarından oluşan aktivite G.Ü. Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi Kimya Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı 4. sınıf öğrencilerinden rastgele seçilen 22 öğrenciye uygulanmış, aktivitenin etkinliği sınıf içi öğretim elemanı gözlemleri ve öğrencilerle resmi olmayan görüşmelerle kalitatif olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Aktivitenin, öğrencilerin ilgi, tutum ve merakını artırmada, yaratıcı düşünme, problem çözme, kavramsal anlama, uygulama becerilerini geliştirmede etkili olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract:

In this study, a laboratory activity that is based on constructivist learning approach was prepared for teaching pH meter, Electrode Calibration and Gran Functions to undergraduate and graduate students. The activity that is consist of demonstration, guided inquiry, generate concept and application phases was carried out to twenty-two students randomly selected from grade 4 in Gazi University, Faculty of Gazi Education, Department of Chemistry Education and qualitatively evaluated with observation and informal interview. It observed that the activity is effective for increasing interest, attitude and curiosity, for expanding skills of creative thinking, problem solving, conceptual understanding and application.
