Din ile felsefe ilişkisi, ortaçağlardan günümüze değin insanoğlunun üzerinde durduğu düşünce konularından biridir. Ülkemizde kurulan yüksek din eğitimi kurumları, din ile felsefenin uzlaştığı, dini bilgilerin tutarlı ve sistemli bir biçimde öğretimini sağlayacak bir ders programını izlemişlerdir. Böylece sözü edilen programlarda, temel din bilimlerinin yanı sıra felsefe grubu derslerine de yer verilmiştir. Bu çalışma, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi örneğinde, felsefe grubu dersleri hakkında son sınıf öğrencilerinin görüşlerinin anket yöntemiyle belirlenmesine dayanmaktadır. Elde edilen bulgular dayalı olarak, fakültenin felsefe eğitimindeki hedeflerine ne denli ulaşmış olduğu belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca bu çalışma genelde ilahiyat özelde ise felsefe eğitiminde yüksek bir başarı elde etmek için ne türden değişikliklerin yapılması gerektiği hakkında ön görülere katkı sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır.
