So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Gotik edebiyata tekinsizlik, belirsizlik duygusu, korku ve rahatsız edicilik hâkimdir. Bir kitabın gotik olmasını belirleyen şart olağanüstü, doğaüstü unsurlardan beslenmesi olarak kabul edilir. Ancak, gerçek hayattaki garip ve gizemli ögeler de bu edebiyatın kapsamına girmektedir. Gotik edebiyatın en çok kullandığı unsurlardan biri, ölümdür. Kadim, ölü ve gizli olanın gün yüzüne çıkması da bu edebiyatın unsurları arasındadır. Oğuz Atay’a ait Korkuyu Beklerken isimli eserde bulunan “Unutulan” ve “Korkuyu Beklerken” hikâyelerinde gotik özellikler mevcuttur. Çalışmanın amacı ise bu iki hikâyeyi gotik unsurlar çerçevesinde ele almaktır.
