Gençlerin, içinde bulundukları toplumun hızla değişmesinin yeni ve çağdaş nitelemelerle olan karşılıklı ilişkisi, aynı zamanda onların pek çok sorunla karşı karşıya oldukları anlamına da gelmektedir. Bu sorunların, gençlik kimliğinin yerel çevresel etkiler ve küreselleşmenin sonucu olarak postmodern kültür ile olan irtibatı üzerinde gelgitler yaptığı söylenebilir. Bu anlamda çalışmamızın amacı, üzerinde çalıştığımız dindar gençlerin belirli bir süreçte bilindik çevresinden ve yaşamını kuşatan etkin unsurlardan gelen etkin ve zorlu faktörlerin etkisinde, yaşadıklarının din ile ne tür bir ilişki içerisinde olduğunu ve bu konunun doğrudan muhatabı olarak dindar genci etki altına alan bu kategorik alanları araştırmaktır. Bu bağlamda dindar gençlik kimliğinin oluşum evrelerini, gençlik üzerinde yerel yani bir bakıma kültürel dinamiklerin etki alanı içerisinde kendiliğinden gelişen ve gencin yönelimlerinde baskın kimi “kültürel” değerlerle ve modern ama zorunlu sonuç olarak “küresel” enstrümanlarla açıklamak doğru bir yaklaşım olacaktır. Bununla birlikte yerelliğin ve öz kültürün korunması konusunda hassasiyeti olan ya da bu olguyu aşamayan, çelişkiler ve buhranlar yaşayan bir gençlik kültürüyle, küreselleşmenin ürünü olarak modernist kültürü birlikte tecrübe etme isteği ve eğiliminin gençliğin kimlik oluşumu üzerinde “küyerel” bir zihniyet algısı oluşturduğunu da düşünebiliriz. Dolayısıyla sürecin ileriki aşamalarında geleneği temsil eden otoriteler bir değer kaybı yaşamakta, arkadaş ve akran gruplarınca ‘rol çalma’ edimi görülmektedir. Çünkü bu gruplar, gencin içselleştirdiği ve kendisine yakın hissettiği akranlarıdır. Genç, bu grup içinde kabul görmek isterken, aynı zamanda bu gruba ait ve bu grubun karakteristiklerini yansıtan kimliğini de benimsemektedir. Aynı şekilde modernist paradigmanın gençliğin kimlik inşasında, özellikle geleneksel değerleri tahrib ederek oynadığı rol de, genç üzerinde yapısal bir probleme neden olmakta, onun sosyal kurumlarla olan bağını kopartarak bireyselleşme eğilimlerini artırmaktadır. Bununla birlikte genç, bir yandan dinin ya da geleneksel diyebileceğimiz değerlerin üzerindeki etkinliğini yadsımamakta, ama diğer yandan küresel değerlerle yerel motiflerin harmansı desenlerini davranışlarına yansıtabilmektedir. Gençliğin ilk dönemlerinde karşılaşılan çok yönlü belirleyicilerin, gencin yaşamını ve davranışlarını biçimlendirmede oynadığı önemli rolün, meseleyi bir kimlik sorunu haline getirdiği bir gerçektir. Dolayısıyla çalışmamızda nitel gözlemlerin ortaya koyduğu verilerle birlikte, farklı illerde, ortaöğretim ve yüksek öğretim kurumlarında yapılan nicel çalışmaların vardığı sonuçlardan elde edilen verilerin, genelde gençliğin, özelde dindar gençliğin yönelimleri konusundaki etkisinin; buna karşılık, gençliğin dine yaklaşımı ve dini hassasiyetinin bu meselede oynadığı rolün ne olduğu belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.
The interrelationship of the rapid change in the society they live in with new and contemporary qualifications also means that young people face many problems. It can be said that these problems tumble on the connection of youth identity with postmodern culture as a result of local environmental effects and globalization. In this sense, the aim of our study is to investigate what kind of relationship the religious youth we are working with, under the influence of effective and challenging factors coming from their familiar environment and active elements surrounding their lives, have a relationship with religion and these categorical areas that affect the religious youth as the direct addressee of this subject. In this context, it would be a correct approach to explain the formation phases of religious youth identity with some cultural values that develop spontaneously within the influence of local, in other words cultural dynamics on youth and dominate the youth’s orientation, and with modern but mandatory global instruments. However, we can also think that the desire and tendency to experience the modernist culture as a product of globalization together with a youth culture that is sensitive to the preservation of locality and core culture or cannot overcome this phenomenon, experiencing contradictions and crises, creates a glocal mentality perception on the identity formation of the youth. Therefore, in the later stages of the process, the authorities representing the tradition experience a loss of value, and the act of 'role taking' is seen by friends and peer groups. Because these groups are the peers that the young person internalizes and feels close to. While the young person wants to be accepted in this group, he also adopts the identity of belonging to this group and reflecting the characteristics of this group. Likewise, the role played by the modernist paradigm in the identity construction of youth, especially by destroying traditional values, causes a structural problem on the youth, and increases their individualization tendencies by severing their ties to social institutions. However, on the one hand, young people do not deny their influence on what we can call religious or traditional values, but on the other hand, they can reflect the blending patterns of global values and local motifs to their behaviors. It is a fact that the multifaceted determinants encountered in the early years of youth play an important role in shaping the life and behaviors of the youth, making the issue an identity issue. Therefore, in our study, together with the data revealed by qualitative observations, the effect of the data obtained from the results of quantitative studies conducted in secondary and higher education institutions in different provinces, on the orientation of youth in general and religious youth in particular; On the other hand, it has been tried to determine the role of the youth's approach to religion and religious sensitivity in this issue. In this sense, first of all, it would be appropriate to examine the cultural dynamics, which we can call local, which symbolize the appearance of our country's youth identity. The most important of these is undoubtedly the values that express the local.
