Abstract:

The immigrant population of Turkey, which has been receiving and sending immigrants continuously throughout its history, has continued to increase every year, especially after the civil war in Syria. The number of registered Syrians among the immigrant groups in the country is close to four million. The number of children in the population is not to be underestimated. Migration that is defined as human mobility; brings with it a problem pending intervention. First of all, it is known that after the civil war, thousands of people were displaced, psychologically traumatized, lost their relatives, physically injured, lost their jobs and social status, were exposed to various difficulties on the way to immigration, and families were broken up. Undoubtedly, children have been most affected by the migration movement. The fragility of children has increased with the multifaceted effect of migration and various risks have emerged. Along with various risks, problems such as the inability of immigrant children to access education have also occurred. Access to education and training, the fundamental right for migrant children; has become important in order to minimize risks, eliminate risks, prevent risks and prevent the formation of lost generations. Over the years, many studies have been carried out in the field of education and many projects have been developed in order to enroll the children out of school and to solve the problems faced by the children who have access to education within the system. The Conditional Education Assistance Child Protection Component Project can be given as an example of one of the important studies developed for the schooling of migrant children and to intervene in other protection risks. This compilation article contains information about studies conducted for the education of Syrian migrant children, including Conditional Cash Transfer for Education, which is one of the studies.
