Abstract:

Covid-19 virus appeared in Wuhan, China in December 2019. With the spread of the epidemic to other countries, a pandemic has been declared worldwide. Due to the pandemic, most of the factories and workplaces in the world have been closed, life has come to a standstill and economic collapse has occurred. One of the sectors most affected by the Covid-19 outbreak is airline transport. The aim of this study is to analyze the financial and non-financial data of the Covid-19 pandemic by using the airline transport sector and logistics performance criteria. In this context, THY's fuel cost analysis for the years 2019 and 2020, number of personnel, traffic results, fleet status, assets and summary income tables were examined according to the benchmark performance criteria and the status of the company before and after the pandemic period was found. According to the results we obtained when THY's financial and non-financial data for 2019 and 2020 are compared Despite the financial loss statement of 222.53%, the number of personnel was not reduced except for retirement and resignation situations and it was observed that it applied a protection policy to its employees.
