Bu araştırmanın amacı, fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin dijital okuryazarlık düzeylerinin cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim durumu ve hizmet yılı değişkenlerine göre incelenmesidir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yönteminden tarama yöntemi kulanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında güneydoğu Anadolu bölgesinde bulunan Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı ortaokullarda görev yapmakta olan fen bilimleri öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Dijital Okuryazarlık Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskal- Wallis testleri kullanılmıştır. Fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin dijital okuryazarlık ölçeğin alt boyutlarından “genel bilgi ve işlevsel beceriler” boyutunda ise cinsiyete göre erkek öğretmenlerin kadın öğretmenlere göre dijital okuryazarlık düzeylerin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Dijital okuryazarlık düzeyleri yaş değişkenine göre incelendiğinde, ölçeğin ortalama puanında ve alt boyutlarından “etik ve sorumluluk”, “günlük kullanım”, “gizlilik ve güvenlik”, “sosyal boyut” 21-30 yaş aralığı ve 41-50 yaş aralığındaki gruplar arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu belirlenmiştir. Dijital okuryazarlık düzeyleri eğitim durumu değişkenine göre incelendiğinde, “genel bilgi ve işlevsel beceriler” alt boyutunda ise gruplar arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık görülmüştür. Hizmet yılı değişkenine göre incelendiğinde “etik ve sorumluluk”, “sosyal boyut”, “günlük kullanım”, “gizlilik ve güvenlik” alt boyutlarında 1-10 hizmet yılı ve 11-20 hizmet yılı gruplar arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık görülmüştür.
The aim of this study is to examine the digital literacy levels of science teachers according to the variables of gender, age, education level and years of service. In the research, scanning method from the quantitative research method was used. The study group of the research consists of science teachers working in secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the southeast Anadolu region in the 2021-2022 academic year. The “Digital Literacy Scale” was used as a data collection tool. Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used to evaluate the data obtained in the study. In the "general knowledge and functional skills" dimension, which is one of the sub-dimensions of the digital literacy scale of science teachers, it was seen that the digital literacy levels of male teachers were higher than female teachers according to gender. There are statistically significant differences in the mean score of the scale and its sub-dimensions such as "ethics and responsibility", "daily use", "privacy and security", "social dimension" between the 21-30 age range and the 41-50 age range. A statistically significant difference was observed between the groups in the "general knowledge and functional skills" sub-dimension according to the educational status. A statistically significant difference was observed between the 1-10 service years and 11-20 service years groups in the sub-dimensions of "ethics and responsibility", "social dimension", "daily use", "confidentiality and security" according to the service year variable.
