Abstract:

When it comes to marine pollution, the first kind of pollution that comes to mind is the pollution caused by ships. The pollution from ships plays a very important role in seafood pollution, but the pollution from seafood activities is also another source of unknown or backward seafood pollution. The growing global demand for energy resources and significant developments in technology have also led to an increase in interest and demand for the oil and gas industry. This has led to the shift of oil and gas activities from the ground to the sea. Today, cross-country production is an integral part of the world’s oil and natural gas demand and supply, an important component. Therefore, the continued growth and increase in cross-country oil and gas activities have raised many important questions, including their impact on marine ecosystems and biological resources. Our work will first focus on what needs to be understood in the cross-country oil and gas activities. Then we will refer to the cross-country oil platforms and what the legal nature of these platforms is. Finally, we will discuss the impact of cross-country oil and gas activities on the sea environment. In this context, the pollution that occurs during cross-country oil and gas activities and the pollution that occurs as a result of accidents in cross-country oil and gas activities will be examined.
