Abstract:

The aim of this study is to examine graduate theses studied with psychosocial variables on migration in Turkey. In this study, which uses document review technique from qualitative research methods, a total of 1945 theses made between 1997-2019 were reached as a result of a survey conducted on 02.02.2020 from the National Dissertation Center of the Council of Higher Education. Among the theses reached, 44 graduate theses within the scope of forced migration and working with psychosocial variables were included in the study. The contents of these theses were examined according to the years in which they were made, the departments in which they were conducted, the research models and the research groups. When the findings obtained as a result of the research are evaluated; It has been concluded that graduate theses on immigration with psychosocial variables have increased in recent years, more graduate studies have been conducted on the subject in the department of Psychology and the studies conducted are mostly with adults. In addition, although both quantitative and qualitative research methods were used, almost all of their quantitative research was in the category of descriptive research and only one experimental research was carried out. Some recommendations have been presented in the light of research findings and literature knowledge.
