The study was conducted in the identificative and cutting-edge design between July and December 2019 in order to determine the condition of bonding between the father and baby and the influential factors. The fathers with a 6-12-month baby in Istanbul, Üsküdar district, were identified by the cartridge sampling method and formed the sampling of the 188 fathers who were willing to participate in the study. The data collection used the "Personal Information Form" and "Father-Baby Connection Scale (B-BBÖ)" prepared by the researcher according to the literature. The average age of the parents involved was 32.38±6.23 and 72.8 percent were planned and voluntarily having children. The B-BBÖ scale score average of the fathers was 71.37±10,55. It was determined that parents with high income levels, over 40 years of age, who participated in their babies' physical care and who were their first baby, had significantly higher connectivity levels and showed positive connectivity behaviors. The study found that the age, income status, the number of children and the status of participation in the care of the baby were factors that influenced the level of father-baby connection. The knowledge of the factors affecting the formation of a healthy father-baby bond and the assessment of family health taking into account these factors will be very important for the healthy development of babies.
