İbn Battûta, 14. asırda yaşamış meşhur bir seyyahtır. Kuzey Afrika’dan Hindistan’a, Anadolu’dan Yemen’e kadar çok geniş bir coğrafyada seyahat etmiştir. Seyahati sırasında ziyaret ettiği şehirler, kurum ve şahsiyetlerle ilgili gözlem ve tespitlerde bulunmuş, o bölgelerin coğrafî, iktisadî, dinî ve sosyo-kültürel yapısı hakkında değerli bilgiler sunmuştur. İbn Battûta’nın seyahat ettiği bölgelerden biri de Doğu ve Batı Asya arasında önemli bir geçit noktasında yer alan İran’dır. Seyahatnamede İran’daki tasavvufî hareketlilik, tekke ve zaviyeler ile sûfîler ve bunlara ait kabirler hakkında verilen bilgiler, İran’ın on dördüncü asır tasavvufî hayatının gün yüzüne çıkarılması açısından önem arz etmektedir. Ayrıca o dönem İran’da çoğunluğu oluşturan Sünnîler ile etkileri giderek artan Şiîlerin, tasavvufî kurumlara ve temsilcilerine yaklaşımı ile birbirleriyle iletişimi merak edilen bir husustur. Bu makalede İbn Battûta’nın Seyahatnamesinde verdiği bilgilerden yola çıkarak on dördüncü asırda İran’daki tasavvufî kurum ve şahsiyetler, bunların toplumsal alana etkileri ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır.

During his trip, he found observations and discoveries about the cities, institutions and personalities he visited, and presented valuable information about the geographical, economic, religious and socio-cultural structure of those regions. One of the areas where Ibn Battuta travels is Iran, which is located on an important passage point between East and West Asia. The information given about the Tasavufic mobility in Iran, the tekke and the zaviyes and the tsufis and their tombs is important in terms of bringing the fourteenth-century Tasavufic life of Iran to the day. It is also a matter of concern about the communication with each other by the approach of the increasing influence of the Syrians, the Tasavufist institutions and their representatives in Iran that the majority of the Sunnians in that period. In this article, based on the information provided by Ibn Battuta in the Journey, the 14th century tasavufist institutions and personalities in Iran will be attempted to reveal their impact on the social sphere.
