Bu çalışmanın amacı işletme bölümünü başarıyla bitirmiş ve işletme bölümünde lisansüstü eğitimine devam eden öğrencilerin lisans eğitimleri sırasında aldıkları yöneylem araştırması dersine bakışlarını öğrenmek ve dersin etkinliği, eğitim kalitesi noktasında çıkarımlar yapmaktır. Çalışma grubu, 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Üniversitesi’nde İşletme bölümünde yüksek lisans eğitimi alan 10 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada, nitel veri toplama araçlarından görüşme yöntemi içerisinde yer alan “yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği” kullanılmıştır ve veriler “içerik analizi” tekniği kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlar, katılımcıların yöneylem araştırması dersine karşı genelde pozitif bir tutum içinde olduklarını fakat dersin içeriğine ve konularına dair pek bir şey hatırlamadıklarını ve birçoğu için dersin kendilerine bir katkısının olmadığını göstermiştir ki, bu da dersin etkinlik ve verimlilik açısından gözden geçirilmesi gerektiğine işaret etmektedir. Çalışmada ayrıca dersin etkinlik ve verimliliğini artırmak için katılımcıların görüşü neticesinde dersinin içeriği, müfredattaki yeri ve dersin işleniş tarzı gibi konularda çeşitli öneriler de sunulmuştur
The aim of this study is to learn the views of the course of orientation research that students who have successfully completed the business department and continue their postgraduate education in the business department during their bachelor's training and to make conclusions on the course's effectiveness, the quality of education. The work group consists of 10 students who receive a master's degree in the Department of Business at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University in the 2017-2018 educational year. The study used the "semi-configured conversation technique" within the conversation method from the quality data collection tools and the data were analyzed using the "content analysis" technique. The results showed that the participants are usually in a positive attitude towards the course of orientation research but they don’t remember much about the course’s content and subjects, and for many, the course has no contribution to themselves, which indicates that the course should be reviewed in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. The study also presented various recommendations on topics such as the content of the course, the place in the course and the way the course is processed in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the course as a result of the participants' opinion.
The purpose of this study is to find out the view of students, who are successfully completed the department of business administration and who are continuing their postgraduate education in business, to the operational research course, which is taken their undergraduate studies, and to make inferences about the course efficiency and quality. The sample of the research consists of 10 students who are studying in master degree at the Department of Business Administration in the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University in the 2017-2018 academic year. In this study, “semi-structured interview technique” was used and data is analysed by using content analysis which is one of the qualitative research methods. The results showed that participants generally had a positive attitude towards the operational research course, but they do not remember much about the content of the course. So, most of them argue that the course did not contribute to them. This is indicating that the course needs to be reviewed in terms of efficiency and quality. Based on the attendees’ views, various suggestions such as the content of the course, the place of the curriculum, and the manner in which the course was taught were also presented in order to increase the quality and efficiency of the course
