Finansal performans değerlendirmesi firmaların sektör içindeki durumunu ortaya koyarak finans alanındaki karar vericiler için yol gösterici olmaktadır. Birden çok kriter altında çok sayıdaki alternatifi bir rasyonaliteye dayanarak sıralamak 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından itibaren geliştirilerek kullanılan Çok Kriterli Karar Verme (ÇKKV) teknikleri ile yapılmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda bu çalışmanın amacı gıda sektöründe faaliyet gösteren ve hisseleri Borsa İstanbul’da işlem gören firmaların finansal performanslarının çeşitli ÇKKV yöntemleri ile değerlendirilmesidir. Çalışmada literatür dikkate alınarak seçilen kriterler Entropi yöntemiyle ağırlıklandırılmıştır. Firmaların performanslarına göre sıralanması ise MAUT (Multiple Attribute Utility Theory), SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) ve çok yeni bir teknik olan EDAS (Evaluation Based on Distance from Average Solution) yöntemleriyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre söz konusu firmaların finansal performansının üç yönteme göre de sıralamaları birbirinden farklı olmuştur.
The financial performance assessment is a guide for decision makers in the financial sector by revealing the situation of companies within the sector. Ranking a number of alternatives under multiple criteria based on a rationality is done with the techniques of multi-criteria decision making (MCCV) developed from the second half of the 20th century. In this direction, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the financial performance of the companies operating in the food sector and trading their shares in Borsa Istanbul by various CKKV methods. The criteria selected in the study, taking into account literature, were emphasized by the Entropic method. The company’s performance rankings are based on MAUT (Multiple Attribute Utility Theory), SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) and EDAS (Evaluation Based on Distance from Average Solution) methods. According to the results obtained, according to the three methods of the financial performance of the companies, the rankings were different.
