Bu araştırmanın amacı, bağımsız anaokulu müdürlerinin kültürel liderlik davranışları ile okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin iş doyumu arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma, genel tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli ekseninde yürütülmüştür. Araştırma evrenini, Diyarbakır ili merkez ve ilçelerinde bulunan 48 resmî bağımsız anaokulunda çalışan 298 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise evrendeki 48 resmî bağımsız anaokulundan tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 36 okul ve bu okullarda çalışan 219 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, Yıldırım (2001) tarafından geliştirilen “okul yöneticilerinin kültürel liderlik rolleri” ve “öğretmenlerin iş doyumu” ölçekleri ile toplanmıştır. Alt amaçlara ilişkin verilerin çözümlenmesinde parametrik olmayan yöntemlerden Mann Whitney U-Testi ile Kruskal Wallis analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Okul müdürlerinin kültürel liderlik davranışları ile okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin iş doyumu arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olup olmadığını tespit etmek için ise Bivariate Correlation yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, bağımsız anaokulu müdürlerinin kültürel liderlik davranışları ile okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin iş doyumları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bağımsız anaokullarında çalışan okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin algılarına göre okul müdürlerinin kültürel liderlik davranışları öğretmenlerin hizmet süreleri, öğrenim durumları, cinsiyetleri ve yaşları açısından anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Öte yandan bağımsız anaokullarında çalışan okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin iş doyum düzeylerinin hizmet süreleri, öğrenim durumları, cinsiyetleri ve yaşları açısından anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar ışığında çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the cultural leadership behaviors of independent kindergarten principals and the job satisfaction of preschool teachers. The research was carried out on the axis of the relational survey model, one of the general survey models. The population of the research consists of 298 pre-school teachers working in 48 official independent kindergartens in Diyarbakır city center and its districts. The sample of the study consists of 36 schools selected by random sampling method from 48 official independent kindergartens in the universe and 219 preschool teachers working in these schools. The data of the research were collected with the scales of "cultural leadership roles of school administrators" and "teachers' job satisfaction" developed by Yıldırım (2001). Mann Whitney U-Test and Kruskal Wallis analysis, which are non-parametric methods, were used to analyze the data related to the sub-objectives. Bivariate Correlation method was used to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the cultural leadership behaviors of school principals and the job satisfaction of preschool teachers. As a result of the research, it was revealed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the cultural leadership behaviors of independent kindergarten principals and the job satisfaction of preschool teachers. According to the perceptions of preschool teachers working in independent kindergartens, cultural leadership behaviors of school principals are; It was concluded that there was no significant difference in terms of length of service, educational status, gender and age. On the other hand, the job satisfaction levels of preschool teachers working in independent kindergartens; It has been observed that there is no significant difference in terms of length of service, education level, gender and age. Various suggestions have been made in the direction of the research.
