Araştırmanın amacı rekratif amaçlı kitap okuma etkinliğine katılan ergenlerin okula bağlanma düzeylerinin yaş, cinsiyet ve haftalık kitap okuma saatine göre değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırma; nicel araştırma betimsel tarama modelinde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın ulaşılabilir evrenini İstanbul İli Küçükçekmece İlçesinde spor okullarına katılan 10-14 yaş aralığındaki öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise basit tesadüfü olmayan yöntemle seçilmiş (n=142) gönüllü katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcılara yaş, cinsiyet ve haftalık kitap okuma saati ve okula bağlanma ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS22.0 paket programına girilmiş ve analizler bu program aracılığı ile yapılmıştır. İstatistiksel analiz olarak Mann Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis H analizleri uygulanmıştır.
Sonuç olarak cinsiyet değişkenine ve kitap okuma değişkenine göre okula bağlanma düzeylerinde bir farklılık yaş değişkeninin ise okula bağlanma düzeyinde belirleyici bir değişken olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The aim of the study is to evaluate the school attachment levels of adolescents participating in the recreational reading activity according to age, gender and weekly book reading hours. Research; The quantitative research was designed in the descriptive survey model. The accessible universe of the research consists of students between the ages of 10-14 who attend sports schools in the Küçükçekmece District of Istanbul. The sample of the study, on the other hand, consists of volunteer participants (n=142) selected by the simple random method. Age, gender, weekly reading hours and school attachment scale were applied to the participants. The obtained data were entered into the SPSS22.0 package program and the analyzes were made through this program. Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis H analyzes were used for statistical analysis.
As a result, it was determined that there was a difference in school attachment levels according to gender variable and book reading variable, and age variable was a determining variable in school attachment level.
