So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Production and consumption have increased due to significant break points in world history, such as industrialization, population growth, technological developments, globalization and some philosophical approaches. As a result, nature, environment, animals and plants have been accepted as unlimited and worthless commodities which are ignored for their being in danger of extinction. At the last point, not only the environment, but also human health and human / social values, have been used loutishly. Fast consumer culture has negative effects on limited resources and ecosystem of nature. Due to the current world order, resources are rapidly depleted, nature is disappearing, human health is gradually deteriorating, and many economic, ecological and social problems arise. Additionally; Using high amounts of water and chemicals during the production, using of the resources as they are unlimited, leaving behind the wastes to the environment; damage the vital resources such as water, air, soil and adversely affect the sustainability of the world. The fact that development providing economic development and consequently easing of human life is not an enough reason for ignoring the global problems that it emerges. The Textile&Fashion sector, which produces the most important requirements of people, such as clothes, accessories and home textiles, should continue its activities with the consideration of human and environmental health, as well as by taking into account of the ecological ethical values and sustainable development. Applying the chemical materials, and using natural resources during the production should be as minimal as possible in the sector. Approaches such as “Sustainable Fashion”, “Eco Fashion”, “Green Motions”, “Slow Fashion”, “Slow Design” have emerged as a reaction to these problems that the world has encountered with. Sustainability is also a very important position for the Textile / Fashion Sector. It is important for the textile materials to be produced from natural fibers and materials, in terms of having a longer service life and for achieving the recyclement for the sustainability. In the study; it was aimed to raise awareness among producers, consumers and researchers, to attract attention to sustainable fashion and also to contribute to sustainable development.
